Fuel Pump Series & Application Selection Guidelines

Brushless:Designed for customers who require high flow, stable pressure, improved efficiency and advanced control options. Selection should be based on the complete flow-pressure curve, fuel type, voltage, controller strategy and installation environment.

E85:Developed for designated ethanol-compatible applications where material compatibility and increased fuel-flow demand are critical. Buyers should confirm the exact fuel blend, pressure and target output before selection.

Low Pressure:Built for systems that require controlled low-pressure fuel delivery. Product selection must consider fuel type, target pressure, continuous-duty requirement, mounting position and inlet/outlet configuration.

Methanol:Intended for specialized fuel systems where material, seal and maintenance requirements differ from gasoline applications. Only products explicitly confirmed for methanol should be used.

Motorcycle / ATV / UTV:Available as pump cores and complete assemblies. Matching can be based on OE number, vehicle model, original sample, dimensions, connector and fuel tank structure.

Hangers & Assemblies:Custom layouts can integrate single or multiple pumps, flanges, ports, wiring, filters and level-sensing components according to the customer’s tank and system design.

How to Select a Fuel Pump

1. Confirm the fuel type:Gasoline, E85/ethanol, methanol, diesel and alcohol systems require different material and flow considerations.

2. Define the required flow:Use engine power, fuel type, efficiency and safety margin to estimate the target flow.

3. Confirm working pressure:Do not compare pumps only by free-flow numbers. Review the flow available at the actual base pressure and boost condition.

4. Choose the installation type:Confirm in-tank or external installation, mounting space, inlet/outlet direction and cooling environment.

5. Check electrical requirements:Confirm voltage, current, connector, wiring size and whether a brushless controller is required.
